Preview for book two of ‘Dimensional Adventures with Arabella’ Trilogy Series: NETHERWORLD RESCUE/ Arabella and Durango Cowboys’ Quest for Justice
Karen Dowers, author of Dimensional Adventures with Arabella, loves to use some ‘real characters’ in her mystical books. The first book of her trilogy series involves a quirky little Butterfly Fairy from a place called The Land of Rom in the 5th dimension. This Butterfly Fairy, named Arabella, gets into trouble playing too many pranks on her friends and ends up being sent to Earth to learn some lessons in kindness and compassion.
Fate brings her together with a ‘pure of heart’ young human girl, named Sophia, who, by example, is to teach Arabella lessons she needs to learn. In return, Arabella shows Sophia how to develop a meaningful connection to Mother Earth and her creatures, and introduce the principles of ‘The Law of Attraction’. Under governing rules from Rom, Arabella is not allowed to take Sophia on any dimensional travels for one year of Earth’s time. Instead, Arabella takes Sophia’s sister, Shelby and her boyfriend, Griffin to the 4th dimension bug world and the 5th dimension for an exhilarating and fun adventure.
Sophia and Shelby are ‘real characters’ and are Karen’s nieces. Sophia loves fairies and inspired the creation of Arabella and her dimensional adventures. Shelby is a bug fanatic and loves the ‘bug’ world. The rest of the Petros family – Jayden, Shiloe, Mom and Dad (Shawna and Jeremy) are also Karen’s nieces and nephews and are characters in the trilogy series. The second book in Karen’s Adventures with Arabella Trilogy Series is NETHERWORLD RESCUE: Arabella & Durango Cowboys Quest for Justice.
Sophia Petros is no ordinary teenager because her BFF is Arabella, a fearless, 5th dimension butterfly fairy . . .
A year passes since the queen of Arabella’s 5-D world sent the mischievous butterfly fairy to Earth on a mission to learn valuable lessons from Sophia, a human friend. Now, it’s time to take Sophia on a wild ‘out of this world’ adventure. The little fairy astral travels her friend to a parallel Earth. There, they arrive in a paradigm reminiscent of the 70s era in Sophia’s Earth world but yet, quite different. The action unfolds in a quaint, Western town called Durango, Colorado. Soon, they befriend a group of ranch cowboys. The youngest cowboy, Colton, is Sophia’s age and the two seem smitten the moment they meet.
In this world, Arabella and Sophia discover strange things take place; animals talk, trains fly, and living spacecraft cruise the skies. Moreover, a surprising dimensional twist opens a portal at legendary Chimney Rock causing a chain of quirky events. The first occurrence is a creature who comes through the portal injured, hungry, and panic-stricken. A creation of Netherworld Overlords, he is called a berserker, and his escape from captivity allows him freedom for the first time in centuries. Not sure what to expect in this world, he heads to the small town of Durango, and his arrival stirs up imminent trouble when the Underworld ‘Powers That Be’ freak out realizing he is missing. Oddly, the magical warrior helmet, a possession of the war god, Mardukus, disappears the same time.
Unknown to the berserker, his body harbors a mysterious top-secret hidden for centuries that connects him to this helmet. These deities are anxious that Mardukus will discover his mighty helmet went AWOL and all ‘Hades’ will break loose. And, they are nervous their secret’s exploited by lesser creatures than they consider their ‘godly’ selves, so they decide to send a ruthless galactic bounty hunter to return the berserker, plus find out if he knows the whereabouts of the helmet.
How will Arabella, Sophia, and their new cowboy friends handle this potential threat? Can they take a bleak situation and turn it into something positive by exhibiting compassion and kindness? And, when they are bowled over with a real danger that uncovers itself, can they meet the challenge to win a faceoff with scary Netherworld entities, and unravel a great mystery?
